Retailers using tkm9s mobile ring fence technology to create virtual shops have seen a significant uplift in consumer engagement, creating an engaging way for shoppers to shop in a special way.
Utilising the interactive retail platform imtkm9™, retailers can draw a virtual ring fence around their shop up to 250m square, that allows consumers to connect over special Wi-Fi with their phones to start engaging with the shop even before arrival.
Mark Hodgens CEO for tkm9 group “This new technology allows consumers to access special offers near or around the store or simply order a coffee ready for pickup”. Hodgens explains, “the technology has put focus on the destination again, special offers, virtual shopping and pre-ordering”.
Using the interactive retail platform imtkm9™”, retailors can engage consumers to visit their store area, where only special offers are available. Consumers will be shown on their phones the ring fence zone, which they must sign up through their browser. Once they enter the ring fence zone they can shop and order while being near the store.
Jonathan Walsh, General Manager for tkm9 group “We have also seen some great uplift in other markets such as sporting stadiums where fans can secure entry tickets and special offers from the clubs”. Walsh also admits that “the ring fence technology has also provided an area where consumers feel safer about mobile network interactions, it really has been a challenge, but this just works”
tkm9 continues to work with tech partners such as intel to really push technology through the line of consumer engagement. Utilising the interactive retail platform imtkm9™” along with the mobile ring fence technology makes it even more compelling to visit the destination.
tkm9 will continue to roll out its ring fence technology at a global level across major airports, stadiums, shopping centres and commercial environments.
